The problem

Many AI coding tools cannot tell you, in a form you can trust, when they were used or on what. Trailers and labels depend on people remembering. A proxy sees the traffic and does not depend on memory.

How it produces Attested events

Because Gateway observes the request and signs what it saw, the resulting provenance events are Attested rather than Declared. Those events go to the same ledger and policy engine as everything else in Attesta.
