Principles
Say what is known, and how
Attested, Declared, and Inferred are never blended. Certainty is part of the record.
Collect less
Metadata and hashes, not source code. If something needs more, it is opt-in and documented.
Label what is not built
If it is planned, we say Planned. If it is sample data, we say Sample data.
Evidence over assertion
Records should be checkable by someone who does not trust us.
